A Note to Our Son.

Dear Baby B,

As you can see, we haven't selected your name yet (although, we are really close), but we have everything else completely ready for you.

Your nursery is done - we've been keeping the door shut so Maggie doesn't sleep in your crib - and the cradle is all set up right next to my side of the bed.

Your swings, bouncers, activity mats, and toys are all assembled and ready for play time.

Your clothes are washed and put away in your dresser and closet.

Your changing area (that's right, you get more than just a table) is all set up, and includes a Scentsy warmer to cover any unpleasant smells that your cute tushy makes.

Your car sear base is installed in Mommy's car and your diaper bag, stroller and pack n' play are ready for travel.  Daddy is excited to carry you around in the Baby Bjorn.

Your high chair, bottles and all feeding accessories are ready for you, too, even though you won't need these for a few more months.

Your puppy dog really wants to meet you too.  Watson rests his head on my belly daily as a plea for his little brother to come soon.

Your due date is nearing and the doctor says you are a big boy already (probably over 8 pounds) and Mommy wants to have as natural a birthing experience as possible... which means, you should come soon and finish all your growing on the outside.

We know you are cozy in there so we will keep you warm and snuggly until you are acclimated to the outside world.  We promise there is much more room for you to comfortably stretch and squirm on the outside. It's really great out here!

We are anxious to meet you, love on your chubby little cheeks, and begin raising you to be the man God intended.  Others are anxious to meet you too - your grandparents, your aunts, your uncles, your cousins, and family friends.  Some of your friends have already been born, and I know you will just love playing with them as you grow up.

Baby B, please come out and meet us soon.

With Love Beyond Measure,
Mommy and Daddy
